Prototyping (AKA interactive mockups) may not be the kind of word that most people use in the daily vocabulary…however, it should be! The Creative Company is pleased to announce that we are hosting a Meet Up on January 28, 2015. We will be featuring Scott Rouse, Creative Director of Earthling Interactive, as he presents “Prototyping for Startups”. Prototyping can be very impactful with development shops, and can accommodate the emerging startup model while at the same time incorporate a highly innovative and low risk solution to alternatives. Scott will explain what it’s like to work with startups and how he manages to meet the demands of a client without overburdening the design process. We will be covering a range of topics, everything from cost management, to explaining how prototyping influences new business strategies. Prototyping, while it can encompass everything from robots to new businesses, it is often used in the same way as “model”. For Scott, prototyping has become a new way to focus less on the “transactional nature of the partnership” and more on producing an exciting idea through an innovative approach.

Scott attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has experience with development and web design. Scott’s experiences have covered businesses from Propeller Health as Lead Software Developer, to StudyBlue as Head of Usability.
