Emma Bijelić Joins The Creative Company’s Growing Team

MADISON, Wis. – The Creative Company is expanding its creative and storytelling capabilities with the addition of Emma Bijelić as a full-time Brand Storytelling Coordinator.

Bijelić joined the Madison-based public relations and marketing firm part-time in June and made an immediate impact. Within her first weeks, she created video and photography for clients, developed original brand concepts, and produced social content including a recent Instagram reel that generated over 1,400 likes on Instagram alone, which are outstanding results for a client company.

When the agency’s senior videographer left for a two-week vacation just one week after Bijelić started, she stepped into active production work without missing a beat.

“Emma arrived with this remarkable combination of creative instinct, intellectual curiosity and the ability to actually make things happen,” said Laura Gallagher, president and founder of The Creative Company. “She can look at a story, understand what makes it meaningful, determine the best way to tell it and then execute the idea beautifully. That combination is rare.”

Bijelić brings an interdisciplinary background spanning communications, film, media, music composition and creative production. She spent the last two years with the Wisconsin Union in the creative department and has completed an internship with DDO Artists Agency in Los Angeles, adding entertainment-industry experience to a background that includes work with LunART and as Director of Marketing for the relatively new non-profit, the Madison Film Festival.

Together, those experiences have shaped her approach to cultural storytelling, audience engagement, and the role creative media can play in building connection.

She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Communication Arts, with an emphasis in Film and Media Studies, and Music Composition from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

At The Creative Company, Bijelić works across disciplines including video, photography, social media, brand development and strategic storytelling—helping clients find more compelling ways to communicate who they are and why their work matters.

Her creative practice extends beyond agency work. Bijelić is also a composer and arranger who creates music for film and contemporary projects, giving her an unusual understanding of how image, sound, pacing and narrative work together to create an emotional response.

“Great communications work increasingly requires people who can move fluidly between strategy, storytelling and production,” Gallagher said. “Emma does that naturally. She isn’t simply creating content—she is thinking about what will make someone stop, pay attention, feel something and remember the story. We are incredibly excited about what her talent adds to our team and, ultimately, to the work we do for our clients.”

Bijelić transitioned to her full-time role with The Creative Company on August 31, 2026.
