Founded in 1989 as a public relations firm, The Creative Company began with a simple mission: help organizations communicate clearly, build trust, and connect with the people who matter most. Over the years, we’ve expanded into graphic and website design, digital strategy, and photography and video production, continually evolving to meet the needs of our clients and the changing times.

Our founder and president, Laura Gallagher, has dedicated her career to amplifying meaningful stories. Recognized as the 2019 SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year, a Wisconsin Trailblazer, and featured in the BBB’s Spark Magazine as Wisconsin’s “Official Badass,” Laura brings vision and resilience to every partnership. She is also the author of #180in120: How to Recharge Your Business in 120 Days and Home Again – A Restoration Story and the forthcoming corporate biography A Legacy Built. Beyond The Creative Company, Laura has served as both the North American and Wisconsin’s Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day at the United Nations and on boards ranging from the Better Business Bureau to the Madison Symphony Orchestra.
