President and Founder of The Creative Company

Dear Friend,

Hello October! What a month already! The fourth quarter is traditionally a season of lots of activity and anticipation as we focus on helping clients finish the year strong and finalize plans for the new year. There’s a lot to cover, so I’ll dive right in!

At the end of the month, I’ll be heading to Washington, D.C. to represent Wisconsin as I lobby Capitol Hill and attend the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit. I’ll join more than 2,300 entrepreneurs from across the country to talk about what matters most to small businesses including healthcare, access to capital, AI, innovation, and opportunity. It’s an honor to have a seat at the table on behalf of women entrepreneurs and business owners, as well as the 60 million people we employ nationwide.

Closer to home, we’re once again partnering with Extended Hands Pantry to help families in need enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. This year’s turkey drive is dedicated to my sister, LaVonne, whose generous spirit continues to inspire us even though she is gone now.

In this issue, our colleague Craig Hadley shares practical insights on how geofencing can transform your local marketing. His piece, “Unlocking the Power of Geofencing for Your Company,” shows how technology can help small businesses like yours connect with customers more precisely and more personally than ever before. We’re doing this consistently here at Creative Company. It’s a fantastic way to get your message in front of your clients, customers and donors.

At The Creative Company, storytelling, strategy, and stewardship go hand in hand. Whether it’s advocating on Capitol Hill, helping a local business grow, or serving our community, we’re grateful to share this journey with you.

“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

This Thanksgiving, The Creative Company is honoring the memory of LaVonne, the sister of our founder, Laura Gallagher, who passed away in July after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. After learning of Extended Hands Pantry’s need for turkeys, she was overjoyed to make helping local families part of her legacy.

You’re invited to join us in blessing local families this Thanksgiving.
  • $30 provides a turkey for one family.
  • $60 feeds two families.
  • $180 provides two full Thanksgiving meals
  • $360 provides four full Thanksgiving meals

Extended Hands Pantry expects to serve 250 local families in need with a turkey for Thanksgiving this year. Together, we can make sure no table goes without one this holiday.
