The Creative Company, an Award Winning Madison public relations and interactive agency, is looking for a top notch, intuitive, kind, intelligent office manager with strong AP/AR skills to join our team.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in office administration. You must have a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize. The right candidate will play an integral part in the future expansion of our company.
Key responsibilities involve:
- AP process – recording and paying invoices in a timely manner.
- AR process – Invoice clients and manage accounts payable.
- Track employee hours and report the hours to a third party payroll provider bi-weekly.
- Daily bookkeeping entries including tracking client charges, filing, organizing and maintaining records in a timely and professional manner.
- Training and on-boarding new employees in key systems at the Agency.
- Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate and up to date.
- Scheduling employee reviews.
- Maintain excellent facilities – office cleanliness and organization.
- Work directly with professional services firms.
- Managing procurement of all office supplies.
Character, integrity, commitment and kind and professional communication skills are required.
There will also be ad-hoc and project work such as you’d expect in a growing, dynamic company!

You will need:
- strong business and finance administration knowledge
- 10+ years of experience
- University or College degree
- Strong leadership, project management and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and work with executives.
- Solid business acumen, management reporting and problem-solving skills.
- basic accounting skills with a high degree of accuracy
- knowledge of the public relations and communications profession helpful
- ability to produce business correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
- some sales support experience is desirable, but not mandatory
- experience managing the calendar of a busy office
- the desire to make a real difference in a small company, and to have some fun along the way
