After 7 years at the Madison Enterprise Center, we’re moving west to 636 West Washington Avenue!
The general contractors are working in the space now and our planned move date is Thursday, July 2, 2015. We’ll have access to email throughout the day and if you’re a client, you’ll have super secret numbers. But we’re all planning on a smooth transition in every way.
For those of you who were around and about in the 80’s and 90’s, you’ll remember our new location as the former home of the utterly unforgettable Hotel Washington. Today, it is the home of Kelly’s Market, an innovator in their own right as one of the best convenience store operators in Illinois and Wisconsin. Okay, not the same pizzaz as the Cafe Palms, but since lots of people forget to fill up the tank, this will come in handy!
Most people don’t know it, but there are two fantastic suites above the market – ours and that of Paradyme Productions, a recording studio which is a perfect compliment to what we do at The Creative Company. We’re also very close to the Kohl Center, State Street, and the bike trails as well as another amazing Madison asset, the Capitol square.
Our new headquarters will also feature private offices, a terrific conference room for brainstorming, a welcoming reception area, and at long last, a kitchen! The parking experience will also be better, something we were definitely looking for.
While we have enjoyed our time at the MEC and are grateful for every entrepreneurial water cooler conversation, we are most definitely ready for the next adventure. Thank YOU for being part of our story. Here’s to continuing to do great things together! #180in120
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tim Rikkers, our partner at Cresa Real Estate Company, for patiently going shopping with Laura for real estate.
Cresa handled every detail with professionalism and ease and we are grateful. We weren’t 100% sure if we would find exactly what we’re looking for, but with Tim’s help we did, and are more excited then ever about the future.
Two Men and a Truck will be moving us from one side of the square to the other. They’ve handled our moves for nearly two decades now.
As both clients and movers who care, we can’t say enough good things about our experiences with them. When you need to move something, hire them!
Last but not least, we want to thank Commonwealth Development, the Madison Enterprise Center and MG&E who made the incubation center possible. We moved to the MEC at the height of the recession in 2008. Because they were here, we had the chance to press the re-set button, re-work the business plan and focus on new service offerings, including email marketing, social media and web development. They have been the very best landlords and we are so very thankful for their partnership with us.
So, it’s westward ho and tally ho, let’s go! Watch for some pics of the new digs once we get settled!
On behalf of all of us at The Creative Company, thank YOU for helping us grow over the last 7 years! The best is yet to come!
